Can I take the course online?
Yes you can. We offer a complete online course for cpr and first aid that does not require any in person interaction or skills test verification. Once you complete the online course you will receive a Certificate of Online Training. We do not offer Certification Cards for online only courses as we require a practical skills evaluation to receive our Certification Card.
Will my employer accept a Certificate of Online Training?
If your employer requires you to be trained but does not require practical skills evaluations then our Certificate of Online Training is should be acceptable. You may want to check with them before hand to make sure you are taking the correct course.
The state licensing board requires me to be CPR and First aid certified, will the accept your Certificate of Online Training?
If they do not require a hands on skills evaluation then yes they should accept our Certificate. However if they require a hands on skills evaluation then they will not accept our Certificate of Online Training.
Is your online training course OSHA certified?
Online training alone does not meet OSHA standards. click the button for more information.
How long do your certifications last?
Our Certification Cards for First Aid, CPR, and AED training for all ages are valid for 2 years.
When will I receive my Certification Card?
Your Certification Card will be mailed to you after your evaluation sheets have been verified. If you are doing a remote skills verification test then you will not receive your Certification Card until you have returned all equipment lent out to you.
Are your courses up to the new CPR guidelines?
Yes. Our courses are designed from a combination of Medic First Aid, ASHI, and EMS Safety training courses to meet the new AHA guidelines.
My current certificaiton is about to expire or has expired, how can I renew it?
If you have a certification with us you can sign up for a renewal course. If you don't have a certification with us then all you have to do is sign up for the right course and pick the best setting to take it in, be it traditinal or online.
Do you offer training for businesses?
Yes we do. We offer training for any size business to help you get your employees trained and certified. We even offer on site training classes and skills verification. All you need to do is find the correct program for you and schedule a class.
I've taken CPR classes in the past, can I challenge the tests to get my Certification card?
Yes you can. Anyone is eligible to challenge the course. There are no lessons or teachings in a challenge and you must be prepared to take a written exam and a skills text and are soley responsible for knowing the material and how to perform the skills. In a challenge the instructor is limited to giving out the written test and executing the skills tests.
Many companies offer online Certificaiton Cards that I can print out, why don't you?
We do not provide Certification Cards for online training as we are required to conduct a skills test before we can issue one. As part of a nationally accredited organization we are required to have a credible, documented process for all skills exams for any participant prior to being issued a Certification Card.
Where does the class take place?
We offer on site training for local businesses so we can come to your place of business to make it easier.
How long are you classes?
In our Traditional class settings you can expect to set aside an 8 hour time slot for material presentation and skills demenstrations for certification. In our blended learning courses you can complete the material presentation portion in an online course which can vary from 1-4 hours depending on the course, followed up by scheduling an in person skills test which you can expect a 30 minute to 1 hour time frame to complete.

Cancelling and Rescheduling Your Class
We understand life happens fast, that's why we are in the safety business. We care about safety and teaching people the right way to help save a life. We have costs to cover too though and that's why we have set our penalties where they are. We care about our communities and people and we know being out of money because of an unforseen event can sting so we also want to offer people that cancel a chance to reschedule their class for a future date, at a discounted price depending on how long you cancelled before the class. Example if you cancelled a week in advance you can reschedule no problem, no discount either since you received your full refund. If you cancelled and incurred penalties then you can be eligible for a discounted price for your rescheduled class.
Our Refund and Cancellation Policies
If you cancel your class:
6 days or more before your scheduled class day then you will not incur any penalties
3-5 days before it is scheduled to take place then you will incur a 25% penalty to cover materials purchased for the course.
1-2 days before it is scheduled to take place then you will incur a 50% penalty to cover materials and other costs.
The day of your scheduled class we do not offer any refunds.
